INHS: Proud Imuseño Disiplinado
This is the word to describe the transformation that is taking place in Imus National High School (INHS). From a typical 39-classroom public secondary school situated in Bucandala III, City of Imus, Cavite to an award winning 78-classroom campus complete with ‘high-tech’ facilities.
This transformation is made possible through the collaborative efforts pitched in by the entire workforce of INHS, both internal and external stakeholders, through the able leadership of its school head, Arturo P. Rosaroso Jr., who envisions the school as a leading secondary campus in terms of physical facilities and academic standing not only in Imus City, but also within the Region and in the national scene.
As a fruitful result, INHS was named by the Region as Best Brigada Eskwela Implementer (Mega School Category) in two consecutive years and was awarded as a National Implementer in Puerto Princesa, Palawan (2017) and Dipolog, Zamboanga del Norte (2018).
The journey of INHS that led to its recognition was never a smooth ride. However, guided by the Region IV-A’s Transparent, Ethical and Accountable (TEA) Governance and other related circulars and memoranda, Imus National High School was able to stand out and figure out the right formula in tapping the fullest potential of the school’s workforce and maximizing the assistance reached out by its external stakeholders.
Within the last three years, INHS has improved its physical structure – from restructuring the drainage system that solved the flooding problem of the school, to laying out tiles within the school ground, to improving the classroom making it conducive to learning, to installing CCTV cameras in various places of the school for the safety of the students, to putting up a Techno Hub which also provides a venue for gathering, to setting up a 10x12 feet LED wall in the newly furnished covered court. All these are for the end goal of providing quality education to all its learners.
Simply amazing. This is INHS. The home of Proud Imuseño Disiplinado!
